Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club Commodore Stephen Tudor welcomed 120 members and guests to the 2013 Autumn Ball.
£500 was raised for the Motor Neuron Research.
The Club was complimented on the successful hosting of the 420/470 European Championship which again confirmed Pwllheli as a choice international venue for major sailing championships.
The Youth section was complimented on their success with representation in British Teams in the Olympic pathway classes.
The Cruising section was congratulated on their active season with two visits to Ireland, to Aberystwyth, Porthmadog and Porthdinllaen and the alternative cruises and social event. Members and guests were invited to the end of season meeting and wash on 26th October.
The Commodore confirmed future social event including a Halloween Party, The Traditional Christmas Ball and New Year's Party.
Past Commodore and Former Club President Gwyndaf Hughes presented the Racing Trophies Mojito collected the Tri Mor Trophy for the Easter Series and the Sol Owen Cup for the Medi Weekend Series, Jeepster received the Desco Cup for the May Series and the Abererch Bowl for the Spring Series.
Jetstream collected the Scrachen Trophy for the first Regatta Race and Sgrech received the Butlins Challenge Cup for the second Regatta Race.
Sarah Pembelton was thanked for masterminding the evening and all CHPSC staff were thanked for their hard work.
£500 was raised for the Motor Neuron Research by raffle and donations from local business including Llyn Golf, Carlsberg, Firmhelm, Harlech Frozen Foods, Gwin Llyn, W M Partington, Tough as Nails, Tyddyn Sachau Nurseries, Cymru Embriodery, Spar Pwllheli and Purple Moose.
The evening was completed with a disco with John and Noel.
