King Constantine & Abererch Bowl 2012

Jetstream Success in the King Constantine Cup & Abererch Bowl Races

John Collins and team on the J109 Jetstream were successful in their campaign over the weekend by winning the prestigious King Constantine Cup on Saturday and the Abererch Bowl on Sunday. Saturdays race was a long 35 mile bay race from Pwllheli to Madoc Fairway - Causeway and then home via St Tudwal's Islands. Dave Lean on Jeepster came a close second. Sunday saw further close racing for the Abererch Bowl and Jetstream again came first scoring two firsts. Results and sailing report to follow.

Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club has been organising club racing of the highest quality for many years in the World acclaimed sailing waters of Cardigan Bay.

The Bay provides near perfect sailing conditions with lack of commercial shipping, no strong tidal flows and ‘clean’ prevailing wind from the south west.

The racing arena is all only minutes from the safe harbour, the marina or from the Plas Heli pontoon berths
