Subject: ISORA - Series Results (Prelim)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I attach the Series results for 2009 and the report on Race 7 - The James Eadie. (link here)

The Series Overall - The Wolf's Head Trophy, can only be won by boats who have completed 5 races, 3 of which must be cross channel races. The Class results are based on the best 5 results only. I have also included an Overall result based on the 5 results only.

Congratulations to Vincent Farrell "Tsunami" who is the ISORA Offshore Champion for 2009 and who wins the coveted Wolf's Head Trophy. "Tsunami" also wins Class 1 and Overall. "Just Enough", Stephen Tudor wins Class 2.  Results table here.

I hope you all will attend the ISORA Annual Prize Giving Dinner (Black Tie) on the 7th November 2009 in the National Yacht Club. It is always a great night. Booking should be made directly with the Club Managed, Padraic Conneely This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . Special concession accommodation rates in the Royal Marine Hotel will apply. Padraic will be happy to help you in this regard. The AGM will take place that afternoon at 14.00 in the NYC.

Thank you all for your support of ISORA in 2009. It is encouraging to see the numbers of entries climbing this year. Next year is the Round Ireland Race year. The ISORA race schedule will be weighted to give as much offshore experience to boats and crews in readiness for that race. I hope to see you all on the 7th and on the start line for the first race in 2010.

Regards,

Peter Ryan

Chairman ISORA
