Mojito’s is now focused on the next ISORA race – the 270nm Dun Laoghaire to Dingle (D2D) race which starts at 1600 on Friday 7th June. This race, expected to take 2 to 3 days if favourable winds, will not only help to maintain Mojito's position at the top of the ISORA table but will also ensure a place in the famous 608nm Fastnet race in August this year, as the D2D is Mojito's qualifying race.
Peter Dunlop and Vicky Cox see this as a key opportunity to put CHPSC fully in the public eye, and to ensure the best result possible, have invited Stephen Tudor, Commodore of CHPSC and winner of ISORA 2012, to skipper Mojito in both the D2D and the Fastnet races.
The D2D, race run by the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, insist that entrants have trackers fitted, so Mojito’s progress in the D2D race can be viewed on screen at the YellowBrick tracker website http://www.yellowbrick-tracking.com/ Just keep an eye out for the Dun Laoaghaire to Dingle link appearing in the ‘Live Now’ section of that page sometime on Friday. More details about the D2D race can also be found on the National Yacht Club website www.NYC.ie
