I have found this useful in the past for such things as Sailwave race results etc.
Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club moved to its new home in July 2015 - the fifth home since being established in 1958.
The Sailing Club located within the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Event Centre in Plas Heli and occupies the upper floor of the new iconic building with its contemporary design and layout. Members and guests benefit from the superb Plas Heli facilities including restaurant, bar and the popular summer beach café bar with balconies and sea views.
As a Members Club we plan, organises and arranges activities for our members which include Youth and Adult Dinghy Sailing, Cruising, Racing and Social events.
Youth Sailing – CHIPAC our youth section offers local youngsters the opportunity to learn to sail and a chance to sail at club level. Youngsters are supported on the competitive pathway to National Junior class events with the chance of being selected to the Welsh and GBR National Sailing Squads. We are an 'On-Board' Club and a RYA registered training centre.
Cruising – Pwllheli is a great base to explore the spectacular coastline of Cardigan Bay, the numerous and interesting anchorages or, for the more adventurous, cruising the Irish Sea and beyond. The new pontoons are available for members, visitors and flotillas. The active cruising section regularly organises flotilla style cruises for sail and power boats.
Racing – The Club keel boat racing offers something for everybody; novices to championship winners. There is always an emphasis on competitive fun with round the cans racing, long bay races, Regatta racing and the IRC Welsh National Championship.
Events – we have successfully organising prestigious National and International sailing events for many years and these events have established Pwllheli as a venue of choice for many classes and associations. We were chosen as the official London Olympic Training Camp for Sailing, the only one in Wales. These events bring thousands of sailors to Pwllheli from all over the world and a substantial boost the local economy. We continue to host these events which are organised and run by Plas Heli the community enterprise company responsible for the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Events Centre.
Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club is adjacent to the new pontoons, the beach, Hafan Marina, chandleries and marine businesses on the Glan Don Peninsula. Pwllheli the market town for the Llyn Peninsula with boutique shops, café restaurants and bars, and of course the weekly Wednesday market, is also within walking distance.
The safe harbour provides easy access to the superb sailing waters recognised as probablly the best in the U.K. In Cardigan Bay the tidal streams are weak, winds are stable and the scenery is superb. Snowdon and the Welsh mountains providing a magnificent backdrop for any water sport.
