CHARITY BIKE RIDE ---ON A TANDEM!!
Andrew and Eleri (Luvly Jubbly) are taking part in a charity tandum cycle ride across Britain and request your support..
HELLO and A HUGE THANKS to all of you who have so very kindly given some of your hard earned money to this great cause!!
The good news is that across the 3 Jubilate funds we have now raised just over £7,000 for Marie Curie Nursing and our target of £10,000 is not looking quite so far off.
This time next week we will have begun the harrowing day one 63 miles from Barrow--172 miles in total. We now have 14 riders and thanks to your generosity we are all attacking the training schedule with renewed vigour!!
My back seat driver (passenger) is still cursing me as much as ever, something to do with me being too tall and can't see where we are going and so brakes come on very quickly down hill! Also I am still not giving enough notice of gear changes so they are still being met by a verbal tirade...some things never change!!
For those of you who may have delayed giving till a later date then THE DATE has now arrived!! We would be very grateful of anything you can spare to help us hit our target.

Re: Jubilate Coast to Coast Charity cycle ride (Walney to Whitby) May 2011...ON A TANDEM**ANDREW BROOK & ELERI GRIFFITH
I am writing to ask you to support Eleri and myself on a Coast to Coast (Walney to Whitby) cycle ride which we and a small group are doing on May 12-15th 2011. This is to raise money for the Marie Curie Nursing Fund, in memory of my cousin Judith Roberts who died of ovarian cancer last year. The training is going well, although the thought of 6 to 8 hours in the saddle for 4 days in a row is more than a little daunting but the arguing is decreasing! Any encouragement i.e. sponsorship you can give will make a tremendous difference to the overall sum we can raise and therefore the number of nursing hours that we can fund. All you need to do is go on the Just giving site.
