In line with the latest initiatives to minimize the spread of Covid 19 we as a Club are determined to play our part to minimize the spread of this virus.
We will be following the guidance of our Governing Body, RYA Cymru Wales, for sailing clubs and sailors and also the instruction of Welsh Government and all appropriate Health Authorities.
In that context, from today we will be:
- Providing Hand sanitizers, tissues, and other cleansers adjacent to Club entrances, upstairs and downstairs.
- We will provide for dining tables to be 1m apart, as much as practicable. We will commence using the Main dining room for lunches and other functions which previously might have been in the bar.
- We are significantly increasing the cleaning regime in Plas Heli particularly on exposed surfaces.
We will continue to scenario plan as best we can – hoping for the best but considering the worst – and will endeavour to keep you fully informed as we navigate this serious challenge.
Plas Heli intends to remain operational, within the guidelines and best practise as advised by the Health Authorities in the first instance.
The bar will operate normal hours and it is intended to have Plas Heli pleasant, safe, environment to dine and socialize withing the latest guidelines.
It is intended that sailing activities will be continued, generally as normal.
Please play your part in this by adhering to the advice given on hand washing and cleanliness.
