Derek Peters O.B.E. passed away peacefully aged 92.
Derek had been a member of SCYC since its formation and latterly since the marina opened a member at P.S.C.
Derek had started sailing at a very young age and whilst, maybe, not hugely competitive he adored being on the water and was thrilled when he managed to make it out onto the water to watch the Edinburgh Cup last year.
