College Student, Thomas Tudor, is in his final year of the BTEC National Diploma course in Engineering at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor.
As part of his project assignment Thomas has designed and built a stand for sailing event equipment which has been fitted to the Versadock facility located at Hafan Pwllheli.
The new stand has a complicated support system which is cleverly concealed within the pontoon structure and provides rigidity and is capable of holding the event equipment safely.
This is again another example of the College and Pwllheli Sailing Club working closely in partnership and giving students opportunities to work purposefully in the marine sector.
