The work being carried out on Cei Yr Heli (quayside) is the installation of the electricity supply for the crane which we are expecting before the end of February.
The crane has always been an aspiration for CHPSC and Plas Heli and was included in the original plans for the facility in the early development and planning stages.
This will be the last piece of the jigsaw to enable a Sports-Boat Class to thrive. Indeed, we have already received reports of a few J70's are on their way to Pwllheli!
The proposed crane, pontoons and storage ashore are a perfect combination for this objective and Plas Heli will now develop a package to help established a fleet and encourage a momentum of growth for all types of sports boats fleets.
