Covid-19 Update

Due to the latest Welsh Government Level 4  Alert COVID  restrictions,  the bar and  restaurant is open for take away service only (access via the side entrance and rear deck)  with  the indoor facilities at Plas Heli closed.  The Plas Heli outdoor facilities - event pontoons and compound  are now open for outdoor activities by maximum groups of six from two  households, and organised outdoor activity for Children and under 18's such as CHIPAC . Cross border travel allowed from April 12th

RYA Elite squad training is also permitted and takes place under the supervision of RYA Cymru Wales.

The next review is due on  April 22nd , which will hopefully confirm the  following changes to take place April 26th

> Outdoor hospitality can open

> Organised activity outdoors for  30 people can resume. This means racing can start and crucially if taking part in organised racing, the crew can be mixed house hold see the article below.

Welsh Government have adjusted the start date of "organised outdoor activity" (max 30 people) which is now April 26th, the same day as outdoor hospitality resumes. This means organised racing can resume with some adjustments needed to cater for the numbers of people taking part. The racing committee will look at this and options include more classes and different start times to separate groups to remain within the 30 limit for each group/class.

note: this is still subject to final confirmation on April 22nd

Crew numbers

When not racing in an organised activity, the rule of 6 (from maximum two households) apply, however when in an organised activity (such as club racing we are permitted to sail with mixed households, and more than 6
