INTRODUCTION FROM THE COMMODORE

Christmas and New Year now seem far away which means the new sailing season will soon be upon us so no doubt preparations and planning will shortly be well underway.

We have had an excellent response to our online club membership payments and we now have substantially more members than this time last year! If you know of anyone thinking of being a member, see our section below “Reasons to be a member 2019” and encourage them to become a member, let’s get as many members as possible to be part of our Club.

The social programme for 2019 is currently being compiled and will be published shortly so watch out for what we have planned for 2019 or please submit any ideas for future events you may like to arrange for members.

In the meantime, please note the Six Nations rugby kicks off for Wales against France next Friday evening 1st February so mark this in your diary and come down to Plas Heli to watch the game with French style complimentary food and wine which will be available at half time.

This newsletter is full of information and topics to interest everyone so keep reading.

Looking forward to the season ahead

Jane Butterworth
