The second weekend of the Pwllheli Challenge starts on Saturday with windward leeward courses from a committee boat start/finish.
The latest forecast shows that the storms will have passed by and with winds of about 14 knots from the south with clear skies - we are ready for a cracking weekend.
The competitive fleet is presently led by the Collins team on J109 Jetstream but with 12 races left and 12 races to count for the series, over three weekends, there is everything to play for.
Additionally, North Sails will be on the water offering advice during racing on Saturday and Sunday.

The day will start with weather briefing on Saturday (and Sunday) morning at 0830 in the club, coffee and tea will be available from 0800hrs. Following racing there will be a debrief in the Club starting at about 15:30. Photographs will be shown of the race and the North team will provide analyse of mark rounding and on the various sail set-up's for the given conditions. North Sails will also hand out a few small prizes and provide lists of things that the crews can do to improve their performance for racing on Sunday.
The CHPSC SI' have been amended to allow outside assistance and to provide the race course card here. Please have a look at the flyerabove. The Notice of Race is available here.
Following the de-brief and post-race analyses there will be a curry banquet - please book at the bar.
I hope that you will all have great competitive racing, great fun and a great weekend!
